Worship by the Water: Joy, Healing, and Salvation at Dobbs Ferry Park

On Saturday, July 11th, our ministry team took the Gospel to the beautiful Dobbs Ferry Waterfront Park. With the river as our backdrop, we set up live worship music and stepped out in faith to engage, love, and pray with our neighbors. What followed was an unforgettable afternoon of open-air praise, physical healing, and miraculous salvations.

Open-Air Worship and Praise

As the live band began playing worship songs, the atmosphere across the park completely shifted. The music drew people in from the walking paths, and several park visitors joined right in, lifting their hands, praising, and even dancing openly for the Lord!

Burdens Lifted and Lives Surrendered

Our team had the privilege of praying with individuals from all walks of life, watching the Holy Spirit move in quiet, personal moments of ministry:

• An Older Couple Finds Jesus: We struck up a conversation with an older couple enjoying the park. As we shared the simple message of God's love, their hearts opened wide, and we prayed with them as they received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior!

• Peace Over Life's Struggles: We met a young lady who was carrying the weight of deep personal struggles. Our pastor surrounded her in prayer, lifting her burdens to the Lord and speaking biblical peace, strength, and encouragement over her life.

• Another Soul Won: Later in the afternoon, we engaged another gentleman in conversation. The truth of the Gospel resonated deeply with him, and after we prayed together, he boldly surrendered his life to Christ.

A Miraculous Healing and Messiah Revealed

One of the most powerful encounters of the day happened when we met a local Jewish landlord. While talking with him, our team offered to pray for his physical health. God touched his body and healed him! Deeply moved by this miracle and the love of God, his spiritual eyes were opened. We shared the prophecies of Scripture with him, and he joyfully received Jesus as the true Messiah!

We praise God for every single life touched, healed, and transformed at Dobbs Ferry Waterfront Park! When we step out of the four walls of the church and take the love of Jesus into public spaces, the harvest is always ready.
