Taking the Gospel to the Streets of Bronx

Day Outreach

Every Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM, Casa de Angeles Ministries holds prayers in partnership with Christ’s Life Evangelism Church at 1856 University Ave in Bronx. This past Friday we started earlier. During the day, our teams went out into the surrounding blocks to preach, and we set up loudspeakers just outside the church so the message carried down the street.

People walking by slowed down, then stopped to listen, and a crowd gathered on the sidewalk. Some of our members also approached individuals, including children, and shared the Gospel and prayed for them.

Evening Prayers

When 6 PM came, the outreach flowed into our regular Friday service. Our leaders preached from the pulpit, taking turns to share the word of the Lord. It was good to hear from every generation in the room.
At the altar, leaders laid hands on people and prayed with them for breakthrough and for a fresh work of the Holy Spirit.

A Birthday in the Church Family

It was also a birthday for one of our church leaders, so we took a moment during the service to celebrate him. He has spent his time teaching and investing in this church family, and it was a joy to honor him in front of the whole congregation.

Lives Changed

Many people who heard the Gospel, whether on the street or in the sanctuary, chose to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Thank you to every leader, volunteer, and partner who worked alongside the team to deliver the Gospel. We’re grateful for what God did during this outreach, and we look forward to many more outreaches.
