5,000 Gather in Karachi as 25 Pastors Unite for Revival

Pastors Working Together

On September 26, about 5,000 people gathered in Karachi for a revival worship service organized by a group of local pastors. Around 25 Christian pastors from across Karachi joined forces to make this event happen. They planned it together and pooled their own funds to make it happen. Casa de Angeles Ministries Pakistan was one of the ministries that took part.

It is not common for this many pastors from different churches to organize something together, and it is a big part of why the event came together on this scale.

Of the 5,000 people in attendance, at least 1,000 were Muslims. They stayed through the worship and listened to the preaching, and many responded when the invitation to follow Jesus was given.

Testimonies

By the end of the revival, 800 Muslims had made the decision to accept and follow Jesus Christ.

There were also over 45 testimonies of healing. People reported that problems with their ears, eyes, and stomachs were healed. Each one was a reason to give thanks, and we praise God for every person who received help.

We are grateful to the pastors who gave their time and money, to the volunteers who worked behind the scenes, and to everyone who prayed for this event beforehand. Please keep praying for the new believers in Karachi, that they would grow in their faith and be surrounded by a church family.
