Powerful Worship and Open-Air Preaching in the Bronx
On July 18th, our ministry team traveled to the Bronx for a deeply moving day of fellowship, humble servanthood, and outdoor evangelism. From a morning church service to bold preaching in the rain, the Holy Spirit moved through every conversation and prayer.
Humble Servanthood Within the Church
The day began at Christ's Life Evangelism Church. Our team gathered with the local congregation for a morning of personal praise and worship prayers. We were blessed to hear an anointed message preached by the Church reverend. The service culminated in a beautiful, biblical display of humility through a feet-bathing ceremony. The church pastor washed the feet of those in attendance. In a moment of mutual respect, our founder took the basin to bathe the church Pastor's feet in return.
Taking the love of Christ from the church pews directly to the streets, our team spent time connecting with the local community. We had the privilege of meeting a group of youth. We gathered around them to speak life, purpose, plus protection over their futures, praying deeply over their lives as they navigate their personal journeys.
Unwavering Proclamation Through the Rain
In the afternoon, the mission continued at an open-ground evangelism event hosted by City of Refuge Church. The weather brought rain, but the downpour did not dampen the spiritual fire on the grounds. Several pastors took turns stepping onto the outdoor stage, boldly preaching the word of God to the gathered crowd. Our founder also took to the stage to deliver a powerful Gospel message to everyone in attendance.
Even amidst the loud, passionate preaching from the stage, personal one-on-one ministry was done. While navigating the open-air event, we met two women who were in need of spiritual encouragement. We took time to lay hands on them, praying diligently over their lives to lift their daily walks to the Lord.
Every prayer spoken and every message preached in the Bronx planted seeds of hope. We are deeply grateful for the partnership of local churches like Christ's Life Evangelism along with City of Refuge, as well as for our frontline volunteers who lead with open hearts.
