Feeding the Multitude and the Jesus Film
The sound of a congregation lifting their voices in praise is a beautiful thing anywhere in the world, but there is a unique, undeniable power when it echoes through a remote village in Jaranwala, Pakistan, at dusk.
As the sun dipped below the horizon and evening settled in, the air was filled with joyous choruses of “Hallelujah” and “Thank You, Jesus.” Believers and neighbors gathered together not just to mark the end of the day, but to experience the transformative presence of the Holy Spirit. What unfolded under the evening sky was a profound blessing, marked by powerful preaching, physical nourishment, and the undeniable movement of God.
A Movement of the Holy Spirit
This outreach, spearheaded by our Pakistan ministry branch with the faithful support of our main ministry, was an incredible testament to how God touches hearts when we step out in faith. As our pastor preached the Word into the evening, God moved with immense power. We witnessed moments of deep spiritual breakthrough, bringing peace, healing, and salvation to many who attended.
But our ministry has always believed that displaying the love of Christ means caring for the whole person—body and soul.
Following the message, the community shared a beautiful time of fellowship and provision. Under the fading light, we had the immense privilege of distributing warm, nourishing meals to the congregation. Watching the children and families enjoy hot bowls of stew, served alongside fresh chapati, was a tangible reminder of Christ's tender care for His people. We broke bread together to reflect the One who is the true Bread of Life.
The Gospel on the Big Screen
With the night now fully set in, the glowing light of the big screen drew everyone’s attention for the climax of the evening: the broadcasting of the Jesus film.
For many of the children, simply watching a movie on a large screen was a thrilling, joyous event that brought out endless smiles. However, the true blessing was the message shining through the dark. Through the visual power of the film, the Gospel came alive in a fresh, deeply understandable way. The community watched the life, sacrifice, and resurrection of our Savior unfold before their eyes.
Because of this film, many people walked away with a profound, newfound understanding of the love of Jesus. Lives were touched, and many came to know the absolute truth: Jesus is alive, He is our greatest friend, He is always with us, and He is our great Provider.
It was a humbling, inspiring opportunity to see so many people blessed and drawn closer to Christ before the night was over. All glory to our Master, Jesus Christ.
